Body Moles

Many people have body moles and it is not uncommon at all. People from every walk of life have moles and they can be located anywhere on the body such as arms, legs, toes, feet, face, neck, back, stomach, armpits and more. A mole on body areas is developed when a cluster of skin cells gather in one spot instead of spreading throughout the body like they normally do. Body moles can vary in size, shapes and colour. It is important to monitor any abnormal changes in body moles. Colour is a very important characteristic to watch over as moles can change in colour over night, after an exposure to sun, and for other reasons.

Doctors and dermatologist recommend that people do self-examinations of their moles. They should check their moles a few times within a year span. If any changes are noted, then they should be reported to a health professional. Moles can be viewed as a unique beauty mark, and they can also be looked upon as ugly and unattractive. Moles come in all types such as a red blood mole, hairy moles, itchy moles, congenital moles, atypical moles and more. If a person wishes to get rid of an unwanted body mole for cosmetic reasons they might want to try natural home remedies.

Some excellent home remedies for body mole removal are:

  • Apple cider vinegar can help shrink and get rid of a mole if applied for three to four weeks.
  • Sour apple juice can help with mole removal if the juice is extracted and applied to the area three times a day for three to four weeks.
  • Try garlic for body mole removal. Although it can be a smelly type of method, it can be really helpful in getting rid of unwanted moles.
  • Apple cider vinegar can help shrink the body mole and destroy the growing cells. Vinegar dries out cell tissue and prevents growth.
  • Dandelion roots can come in handy. Cut the roots off of some dandelions and squeeze and crush them until they exude a liquid. Apply this liquid to the mole in question three times a day for a few weeks and see the results.
  • Baking soda and caster oil mixed together make a paste. This paste should be applied to the area before sleep and then washed off immediately in the morning.
If an individual has any concern over their moles they should make an appointment with their dermatologist or general doctor to get them examined. The dermatologist will be able to determine if the body mole needs to be removed or not. They will analyze the mole for colour changes, as well as size and shape alterations. If there is a concern about any cancerous or pre-cancerous moles the dermatologist will take a sample of the mole tissue and get it examined by a pathologist. This will help rule out any diagnosis of skin cancer. Be on the safe side and talk to your doctor today.
